He could not get the support of Germany or Canada, two that I know of.

I still think this has more to do with getting the oil from the Caspian Sea area in the long run, which is what started the whole damn mess, then dealing with terrorism.

I would hope that there are other ways of dealing with him without risking Servicemen's lives.
