Paul, Thanks for your comments. JXM has had a great deal more patience than I and is not as much a scalper as I have become. At least the account is going in the positive direction since I re-entered the daily action a couple of months ago. It sounds as if you are holding positions for a longer term horizon and augmenting your position with short term trades. I have recently held positions for as long as 3 days before fleeing. If I trusted anyone on Wall street or could stomach the volatility that I am expecting in the near term, I might take a longer term view on certain companies, whether long or short.
