Why do you think this, for competitive reasons?

Because the new internet enabled software architectures are allowing the entire extended supply chain to log in for real time info... this takes processing power and thats a fact. Seems to me as long as your hardware plays in the correct architecture, which is big back-end, middle-tier, adn thin client, then all is well. This is one stealth reason for intel's woes, the PC on the desk is disappearing at least in theory. Although Dell/intc make a mean middle tier box I've heard.
