qwik, msft has a 64bit os ready to rock. they've learned not to doubt intel. I notice a softening of your itanium stance. Is that because intel showed off itanium 3 this week? qwik, you ALWAYS come around eventually. That's okay. I can wait.

Oh ok, you and I disagree. I am unconcerned about msft in the high end enterprise, I think its a linux+oracle story. I don't think msft can handle high end enterprise apps of any kind... even dell runs their business on unix with oracle ERP, notwithstanding Mike's constant edicts to the contrary.
