Anyway, just think it's flaky that these analysts are still throwing out targets like this (very optimistic) without any justification.

The problem is its hard to put a dollar figure on all these mkt share gains. My belief is the 4 application software players: sebl,orcl,sap,psft are taking all the application share from the weaker companies who are mostly all going away... incl. arba,itwo,prgn,cmrc,bvsn,artg,vign, to some degree tibx,webm etc. Some of these were huge companies, and this is only a partial list! Now all marginalized, the business is oracle's to take. So only if we stay in this funk for technology does oracle look pricey. Cisco in the same boat, the issue being whether the current technology spending climate is the long term trend or not. I sure hope not but who knows.
