>>>the answer is to declare war on it, marshall resources, suspend individual rights<<<

To what extent do you think that individual rights should be suspended?

By the time Presidential campaigning starts, Ashcroft may prove to be a huge liability to the Republican Party.

Cary,
Did you listen to sexually challenged Bill Clinton last nite. Virtually supported Bush. Policy was the same during clinton years and major mistakes were made by all admins since reagan vis a vis bin laden and saddam.
Bush aint no rocket scientist but he is not dumb. The insults dont make sense. The sainted FDR was no rocket scientist either and he talked funny too. Reagan was Reagan, not the brightest bulb. Clinton was indeed smart and developed creative hobbies using cigars. Whats the point of the insults including mine. Dems and Republicans both have brought discourse to a low level. mike

>MIKE said>>needs to be done by strenghthening Iran, Turkey, and Israel the three non arab states in the region. Add Egypt and Jordan on the arab <<<
JEROME SAID Overall this makes sense.Except there is no need to strengthen Israel further. They already have WMD, and have exercised poor judgement in attacking the Palestinean civilian population, on the flimsiest of excuses. The ratio of Hamas militants killed relative to the number of Palestinean civilians killed is far too high.
