Hi Dorine,

This sort of thing is a good way for the propaganda machine to control peoples minds and remove time on the media clock that could conceivably be used to discuss corporate malfeasance, Enron, Cheney's criminal activities and stonewalling, etc. The Bushistas are damn good at controlling the media and keeping it on message. Which today is "Iraq is bad, terrorists are everywhere, be afraid, be very afraid". It is completely contrived.
