girls are so young that you wouldn't even dare dancing with them. Yeah, they have them 18 to 20 in the service. Actually, most of my partners in Lindy Hop are 15 to 35. The ladies over 35 usually don't do Jitterbug. Just too strenuous. I have no problem getting them to dance with me. Just too few guys that can do it for the number of ladies that want to. That canal job is the type of thing we get into with good intentions, and are still at it 20 years later. We have kept too large a presence in Korea because the North Koreans would consider it an invitation to attack if we pulled out. Carter tried to pull out when he got in office, and Congress backed him off. He fired a damn good General over it.
