RE: "...have exercised poor judgement in attacking the Palestinean civilian population, on the flimsiest of excuses."

Words! After WW2 there were two groups Nazis and Germans. The Nazis were evil and the Germans were just people like us. Today, there are Palestinians and terrorists. The terrorists are evil and the Palestinians are just people like us. These dichotomies are more useful after a war is fought and won than during a war. During the war, it is very evident that the evil is whole heartedly supported by people like us. They are really not people like us, then.

Israel has exercised judgement and restraint in dealing with a population that is waging terrorist war against them.

RE: "The ratio of Hamas militants killed relative to the number of Palestinean civilians killed is far too high."

Why don't you present your numbers, militants vs. civilians, and then present the basis of your "too high" conclusion.

Does that mean you want FEWER militants killed relative to civilians? I assume not. You might want to contact the Israeli embassy with your ideas on how to RAISE the ratio. I'm sure they would appreciate your help.
