I think you need to give serious thought to how you'll promote the book. Once its done, you're done with it. Now all you do is fill orders, cash checks.

Will you self publish (more lucrative, less sales) or seek a publisher (less lucrative, more sales)? The question of marketing is key. What do you know about this? How and where would you promote sales?

Quick story. In an earlier life, I wanted to be a mail order marvel. I bot and sold junk with those little ads in the back of Mechanics Illustrated and Popular Mechanics, etc. I thought I knew quite a bit about mail order, so I wrote a book about getting started in the biz. I self published (pretty natural for me as I was in the printing and publishing biz) and did an initial printing of 500 books. I promoted the hell out of it in every way I could think of.

About two years later my wife urged me to put the remaining 100-150 of 'em in the trash. It was fun but certainly not the money maker I'd hoped. Key word... fun.
