The only positive I see from this delay is a side effect: the Osborne effect is somewhat reduced (esp. during the Christmas shopping season, but starting now as well). Anyone holding off on a purchasing decision over the next few months will now be more willing to by a non-hammer CPU. Could benefit Intel as much as AMD though.

Still, the delay is horribly negative overall. No other way to spin it.
