Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz

I have been watching and listening to the jerk while he lies for his boss for about 12 years now.

It will be interesting to hear what he has to say when we finally take Saddam down. Probably along the lines of "I had to say these things or he would have killed my family! I was only following orders!"

Guess this gives Iraq's answer to the UN as well as the US...

Yep... They are escalating the brinksmanship, putting Annan and the UNSC in a "squeeze play" politically speaking, and effectively daring the US to attack...

Annan was hoping to be able to reintroduce inspectors into Iraq. But Iraq won't permit it without "conditions" (forbidding access to Saddam's palaces) while the US is calling for unconditional access "or else"..

It will be interesting to see how Annan responds.
