Sorry, but I am not going to let you make me the subject of this discussion.

I first heard of Chomsky 30+ years ago in a college linguistics course. I didn't hear the name again until after 9/11 when his name was associated with some pretty offensive comments. When the name turned up here I was curious to learn a bit more about him and did a Google search on his name. That is how I came up with the links I provided.

What I think is unimportant. I would suggest, if anyone is still interested, that they go to some of the links, read his own words, not those of his critics, and come to your own conclusions.

And then go debate the merits of his views on some other thread.
