Kofi Annan and every other country in the world knows what Iraq is sitting on, ie the 2nd largest oil deposits on the globe... The "evilness" of Saddam is the excuse for getting control of it... Wouldn't surprise me if the get Saddam strategy wasn't part of the secret Cheney energy task force... That task force knew we are draining our domestic deposits at a rate much faster than we are discovering new supplies. They see the writing on the wall.. Are you telling me you buy into the get Saddam movement because you think he represents a real threat to us? That he is suicidal?? There isn't a friggin truck that moves in that country that isn't noticed by us, and if it's military it's probably blasted immediately. We essentially control 40% of the country now. And I didn't hear Annan endorse invasion because Saddam won't comply with inspections...
