When was the last time you could buy steak (sirloin, delmonico, T-bone, etc.) or fish (cod, halibut, etc.) for $3.99/lb? Most beef cuts & ground meat have increased substantially over the last year. Whole grain breads keep getting more expensive. Butter has been ridiculous for more than a year now. Cereals have kept ahead of inflation. Milk too.

Maybe food costs are dropping elsewhere to make up for those that are increasing, but I apparently don't eat those foods <gg>.
