Agree on judgeships, though I think that the termed-out ones should be eligible for local judgeships back home, or academic positions (Seeing a former Chief Justice working as a slimy ambulance chaser is just too "Bill Clinton" for anyone's taste). The most obscene Congressmen are those like Kennedy and "Smilin' Joe" Biden, who have forgotten even what country they are citizens of. Congressional term limits would solve the main problem of Reps and Senators becoming, effectively, employees of the bureaucracies they oversee...
