Again, your notion that Libertarians "want everyone to leave them alone" is actually literally anathema to true libertarian thought, being an extreme perversion of the common rap against Libertarians(much ado about nothing real at all). "Unified regulation" is more aptly said to be the tool the powerful use to pick victims apart in the real world today, than Libertarianism, by far. Power over the masses(or simply, others)corrupts absolutely. "Unified regulation," quite more logically than your assertion to the contrary, is really "the triumph of good intentions over reality."
