Dan B. You are correct about the San Diego experience. They did suffer from the greed of the power marketers in 2000. I have a sister in Rancho Bernardo, so I know all about the local crisis fomented by SDGE and Sempra. However, that episode was mere prologue to the statewide "crisis" that peaked in the April-June 2001 time period. You are suffering from provincialism. Consult this thread for an excellent running commentary as the manipulation evolved. I started contributing copiously in February, 2001. I know what I'm talking about. I'm not too sure about you.
