I guess that posting anonymously on internet message boards allows folks of every ilk to cross the line with virtual impunity. Apparently those with some semblance of a conscience can also make things right with simple excuses & a less than heartfelt apology (considering all of your postings since the post I'm replying to). The thing that bothers me so much polvie, is we both have a long established history on these threads. The fact is, knowing this history, you inappropriately attributed a POV to me that simply does not exist, & from there you wished death upon me, & you attributed a bloodlust to me equivalent to that of the 9/11 terrorists; while simultaneously mocking an injury I have that may be permanently disabling. That disturbs me deeply. Regardless of the anonymity of the internet, our history is too well established for it to not be taken personally. The fact of the matter is I have yet to publicly express my POV on a pre-emptive attack on Iraq. All I did do was to post sufficient evidence to establish that Scott Ritter lacks any credibility to use his POV as a reason to support or denounce a preemptive attack on Iraq...... no more, no less. In fact, I have been & continue to be concerned about going to war with Iraq at this time....... although I have grave concerns about that regime & the potential for them to slaughter many thousands of innocents within his own boarders, in the Middle East & here in the USA (directly or via his support of terrorist organizations). Perhaps you are so emotionally attached to your beliefs that you can somehow justify your actions (however, this noble quality is why your attack on me is so disturbing). As someone whom I believe has established a fairly large following & to which many people find your musings & POV's highly credible; I was & continue to be shocked at your unprovoked & totally baseless personal attack on me. I've given myself time to consider my response & I cannot accept your meager apology at this time. You were far more than rude to me polvie, it's that simple. It is my opinion that I did not deserve to be treated so cruelly by someone who has shown the utmost tolerance for some of the most extreme personalities on the internet. Regards, Tim
