For instance, you purport that Noam Chomsky is a propaganda tool. Have you observed which hidden force Chomsky is propagnadizing for? Have you found that Chomsky is attempting to appeal to emotion rather than the intellect? Have you found that Chomsky is disregarding the unpersuadable intelligentsia while attempting to emotionally sway the lowest-common denominator among the citizenry with threats of terror, appeals to flock under the wing of a all-knowing leader? Have you found the "hidden agenda" of control of the populace in Chomsky's writings? Of course not. Don't be silly. Chomsky is about as much a propagandist as I'm the Queen of England. Chomsky appeals to the intelligent with rational argument. Shrub appeals to the uninformed with emotional appeals to fear. Chomsky works for no corporation and doesn't enrich himself with his work. Shrub is whore to the corporations and enriches his family and bribers with chicanery and manipulation of the system. Chomsky suggests a healthy skepticism about authority. Shrub suggests that you cower in the corner and let the police state save you from your own shadow. You state: His purpose is to mix real fact with fantasy in such a fashion that the reader is left in a dangerously misinformed state. You are 1) lying or 2) deluded. Which is it? Look, Hill & Knowlton, the people who brought you the lie about baby incubators in Kuwait City, and John Rendon & Associates, the firm that Rumsfeld hired as a contractor to the ill-conceived Office of Strategic Influence are both propaganda machines. They lie for a living. And it's a good living because your government loves to steal your tax dollars to pay these liars royal wages to deceive you. Please indicate to me who Chomsky is shilling for? Cui Bono? With the government propaganda organs, it is apparent that the benefits flow to immoral corporate interests. With Chomsky, I defy you to identify the beneficiaries of what you mistakenly believe to be his propaganda thrusts. Please advise. I'd love to find out who is "running" Chomsky and why. -Ray
