thanks rudedog. One thing I hope this recession does for technology is remove some of these management layers that have cropped up in the last few years (you are speaking of Tandem, so their problem is not related to the dotcom mania I know). But anyway lots of startup companies that considered a possible buyout as an exit strategy would add VPs up the wazoo as if just having these people on an org chart made your company more valuable. I've worked for a lot of know-nothings in the past few years. L
