Yes, that's the impression I got from his post. And God only knows, RD is on the fringe, deliberately provocative and loves offending people, but if that were grounds for booting folks off SI, Beanies would be closed forever. -g

Oh, I remember that stupid, tasteless post, and it was exactly as you describe. Designed to rile the susceptible; but it doesn't "claim" what JLA said it did. As you say, RD said he traded against them and they weren't innocent, meaning they were tough traders. He didn't say they deserved to die their horrible deaths.

This reminds me of the non-existent-bomb-threat. Nobody could post that threat, and nobody will be able to post Duray's "claim" "that the people who died in the towers deserved their horrible deaths....." because there was no bomb threat, and no one made such a "claim."
