We backed many dictators and thugs during the cold war.

And that proves? We still do. A lot countries are still run by by these types of people. Some are worse than others. We are now in the process of getting rid of a few of the worst ones.

I thought you were against us warring with Foreign Countries. Are you now proposing we make the whole world safe for the ACLU?
