Where do you get your high regard for McNamarra? Any opinion that coincides with yours get instant credibility?

I think his constant, incompetent meddling with the conduct of the war was a disaster and his self serving ruminations later were transparent CYA BS.

Neither was my position on the Vietnam War. McNamarra later verified what I had always thought which proved me right.
