You loosely use the word,"we", as if all the citizens of the US have played a part in the decision to attack Iraq. "We" is used to depict sides in sports games..........Perhaps the use of the word,"we", helps us to fantasize that the populace actually does have some power.

"containing Iraq is the job of the US/UK. Israel's job is containing Syria."

SO who is the employer that has hired these countries to do a job? The UN is the entity that will make those decisions as it is the UN's resolutions that are the laws broken by Iraq. The US and the UK have no sovereign hold over the Middle Eastern countries so a strike on Iraq without UN backing is an act of war from us to them..............we would be the first strike perpetrator.

ABC was reporting this morning that the US oil companies are already meeting on how to divide and distribute Iraq's oil reserves......................wouldn't that news make you joyous if you had a son or daughter in the military? They may lose their life for Texaco, Exxon, Chevron,Unocal,etc.................go down to the pumps and see if the loss of your child would get you any free gas !!

The bombing of the marine barracks was a retaliatory strike after a US battleship accidentally shot rounds of ammo into a village and killed many women and children as collateral damage.

I suggest you go watch Arnold's movie called < COllateral Damage". Remember that those emotions can be felt in all nationalities................not just Americans.

SOmeone at sometime in some era has got to stop this barbaric and vengeful propagation of legalized murder. Most animals only kill for food or territory defense.............perhaps humans have not evolved into a higher order; but instead, have descended into the realm of the lower orders of life.
