Hi RR, finally getting some rain from the tropical storm here in North Carolina. The drought has been unrelenting. Many feel the drought will adversely affect the fall color season. Have a good weekend!

Is 66 degrees this morning. Going up into the eighties here. Light breeze. Will cool down to 50 again tonight. Am loving this place more and more. It's a special island, contrasting the surrounding prairie. A different world. Love all the wildlife here.

I'm looking forward to recovering in the market so I can buy myself a nice big place here with a good amount of land. (Maybe even a double wide trailer?! VBG)

I went short this week. I feel the same way about going short now, as I would have going long in Jan. of 2000. I think there is good money to be made. But am ready for the turn, or any kind of decent verification that the turn was actually July. From what I see, I just can't believe July was the bottom??? Just can't?

BTW: You golfers... I live where Golf Magazine rated as having the number one, nine hole golf course in the country. I used to play pretty serious golf. Even though I have to admit I now enjoy walking a field with Julie more than walking a golf course with people. I'm thinking about starting to spend some time on the range. It's been a few years...
