The European Central Bank apparently is going to cut rates soon. Hence the big rally in the buck.

Global markets should bounce nicely on Monday.

shouln't the currency go UP when the central bank cuts rates according to the favorite public rationale ("lower rates are good for the economy"), especially when the rates ARE lowered to prop economy...?
