Regarding my doubts, it is not unusual to have reservations about the existence of something one has long hoped for but never seen for oneself or heard affirmed by a reliable third party. I look forward to the opportunity to observe such an exchange between you and someone on SI. Perhaps it will occur in my lifetime.
