I have heard the charges against Ritter. And I saw Ritter's explanation on CNN. Both sounded plausible as presented. I haven't delved any further into it. It's probably a bit premature to assert anything definitively either way. I imagine this will sort itself out over time.

All I did was a simple search on Yahoo... but, I did watch the interview on Bill O'Reilly when Ritter was being interviewed... O'Reilly did ask him about the $400,000.00 and Ritter said he did receive $400,000.00 to produce a film documenting the weapons inspections process, the purpose of the film was to demonstrate that Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction... the money was given to him by an Iraqi political tie and Ritter said he spent much of that money on the film production, he kept about $80,000.00 for himself...

Do a search linking Ritter with the O'Reilly interview and you should find the transcripts...

Try searching the Weekly Standard within the last four weeks. I believe the article was entitled, Saddam's American Apologist.

And I'll expect you to post a "misstatement" I made or apologize and retract your libelous charge....
