"Scott Adams is making fool of us" Yep. But there are two inaccuracies in the picture. First, this kind of analysis is not conducted by engineers, but rather by strategic marketing folks. Second, the boss in pic.3 should reply: "Ok, then make the design schedule to fit into 6 month. You know, economy is slow, if we don't come up with new product soon, we all will be out of business. I suggest you get started now". And more: "oh yeah, while the project is going through board approval, I want your design folks to help out in other quick project. So, keep moving." Regards, - Ali
