I knew that 3 years ago they used analog celluar as the way they went, but was not sure, as they revamped it about a year ago. It seems from investigation, they are still using analog raoming. Since we drive the high desert of Arizona quite often, this would not help me. We blew an engine on our SUV about 100 miles from anything and the only thing that would have helped was a G* phone. I used "the thumb" communication to get a tow truck out there...

I was hoping that they actually got the I* stuff integrated into it, but still nothing there.
