I saw Snowcroft on tv tonight. He is changing his position about an attack on Iraq. I think if the
UN votes for it Snowcroft will support it, and, unfortunately, I believe Daschle and the Democrats
will do the same thing. Polls show the American public support it, but I don't believe the
American public realize what we might be getting into.

Tonight's Sixty Minutes examined problems in Afghanistan. Only Kabul is stable. Outside of
Kabul people barely survive. Only a trickle of the money promised by the US and the other allies has
arrived so what do we do? Start another war. This time with Iraq but the folks in Iraq don't like us.

I think Bush may be out to start an American Empire with the help of the allies. They all need
Iraq's oil and Iraq's oil will repay big oil for their campaign contributions. Tonight's news said the
oil companies have been quiet which is hardly a surprise. They already have a direct pipeline
into the White House through W and Cheney.

Hooray for Representative Dennis Kucinich, D-OHIO!
He is opposed to war with Iraq and he is "running anti-war teach-ins on Capitol Hill,"
according to Saturday's New York Times
in the article, "Lawmakers Wary of War in Iraq Also Worry About Bush." by Alison Mitchell. P.A1,
September 13, 2002.
