Max, it was unbelievable to see the Lions in the shotgun, and running more pass plays than running. Paterno at 75 wants to go out with a winning program and surprisingly made the necessary changes. After watching the game in disbelief I've come to the conclusion that Zack Mills is one special quarterback. Nice to see PSU in national prominence again :) Mike

Max, Robinson was a much more highly recruited QB out of high school than was Mills. The problem Joe has is that Mills has a little of that "Montana" in him ... plays much better than he looks ... so Robinson wasn't going to play at all this year. I'm sure the role Joe is using Robinson in is so he won't transfer .... could walk and go to any big time program he wants. Nice problem to have especially if Mills is beat up by midseason. JB

All in all, I've never seen Penn State run such a dynamic offense. We're talking about the team who coined the term "vanilla offense" Mills had 200+ yards passing by halftime and they literally ran the ball down down Nebraska's throat during the 2nd half Joe Pa will do what he cans to make sure Robinson gets some playing time. Maybe Joe Pa can convince him that his calling in his football life is being a running back. I'd hate to see him transfer because it's obvious he's got some talent. He won't get many snaps at QB unless Mills goes down. I think Mills is one of those special QB's. Here's hoping Joe Pa gets one more National Championship before he rides out to the sunset
