GaBard: very interesting, and in 1999 too I did not know this. Amazing. No wonder he believes shorts are the scorn of the market when he does investor relations and for Midland of all companies.

Yep I should have just sold out and walked away but no I took it to the authorities and held all my positions and exposed the scam. Even giving testimony for 8 hours on all the scams I knew of along with the MIDL I busted before the SEC. They busted the evil of MIDL. Nailed the promoter & 60 counts against the CEO I have heard. Funny thing is the short on the stock is a big brokerage house. I am still waiting to see if they get tagged. Oh proud to have helped John on the writing of that book and I have a copy from John myself. Pretty good job by him. :-) Gary
