This man probably has a better insight into nuclear weapons and Iraq than Scott Ritter or Ramsey Clark...for starters...

What I really worry about is that Saddam will deliberately kill as many people as he can on his way down -- Americans, Iraqis, no matter -- out of pure spite. He knows that by the moral calculus that is used today in the Arab world, the US will be held responsible for all the deaths he causes.

A part of the calculus, unstated by the Bush folk (as almost everything is unstated), is whether it's better to leave him alone and contain him, the way we've done with others. Or to attack, back him into a corner, until he uses wmd as, basically, a suicide weapon.
