<<Whether all that confrontation happened before or after the US came into existence is apparently quite irrelevant.
The fact is that the U.S. is by and large a Western and Christian country, and the folks that populate N. America mostly came from Christian Europe. (Minorities like the Moslems came much later.) And, needless to say, Christianity has strong links with Judaism at the outset.

Is it any wonder then, that the Moslem weltenschauung or, rather the Moslem psyche, tends to look askance at the partiality of the U.S. for Israel.

To many Moslems in the Middle East and elsewhere, the U.S. is working in cahoots with the Israelis (read Jews!) much to the detriment of the Arabs. To be sure, all their suspicion and disapproval hearken back to their confrontations in times past. Pent-up emotions of anger and hatred and frustration etc. transcend centuries to find manifestation in mutually destructive confrontations in the present.>>

Really, there was an entire compnay of Turkish Americans which fought in the Civil War so don't give me that tripe about "Moslems came here much later". This is fully about perceptions not fact & the forces of radical Islam want want all Moslems worldwide to hold the perception the US as an enemy. The forces of radical Islam - not the US - want this to become a new crusade of Islam against ALL OTHER RELIGIONS all other forms of government(because in the nation states containing radical Islam government & religion are often one in the same).

But none of this has anyting to do with that said by the Canadian Prime Minister & his statements which attempt to buy-off Radical Islam show his own greed. Telling our press Canada is the friend of the US while telling his press that 9-11 was our own fault is not acceptable!

So tell us all lil, what was the reason for the following. Did the muslims/islam expand and murder in India because of their friendly relations with the Jews. Or maybe it was all the prosperity in India that they didn't like.
