thanks for all the info, augie I'll have to give those settings a try. I've been watching the PPO lately, too . I noticed that Keller used them in conjunction with his E-wave charts so I started watching it lately. The 5ema, 8sma setup Eddieww mentions are the ones I use everyday. The thread here that he discovered that on is still here, and it's called Befriend the Trend Trading. Subject 21685 Jack Of All Trades mentioned he uses a 21ema, 55sma on 3-minute charts. I've tried it and had good luck with that setup. Message 17752912 Thanks for making your timeframes clear. When Allan asked whether the MACD was only of use in a trend and John replied that its of no use to him right now, I wasn't sure what they meant because I didn't know what timeframe they were speaking of.
