One option is to completely convince Saddam we're going to start bombing and sending in troops with the entire civilized world united behind the effort.

He may choose life over death.

I doubt it, but it's a possibility.

It looks like Saddam may be choosing life after all. Unconditional inspections are the by-product of Bush's steadfast foreign policy resolve.

Even mad men want to live.

If reports are true, the United Nations should send in a team of inspectors on the first flight to Baghdad. News crews of the world should join them.
