The import export feature totally sucks because your email and Explorer options are attached to your identity created when you logon for the first time. The safest way is to export a .csv file and then import it. I drove myself totally nuts trying to follow their help suggestions for saving and moving a phone book until I started doing it that way, especially between two different versions of Outlook Express.

The other stupid thing to watch is that sometimes you copy a phone book but you don't see the imported entries because the view only shows the original entries created when you first logged on to the new computer (an empty phonebook). They are there, but you need to change the view to show all to see them.
