I understand, and thank you for your withdrawal. Matters can get very confusing, and I have been attempting to clarify some of them, as regards myself and how far I am willing to go with others, lately. It is not that I did not know that there was a limit, but apparently they have difficulty contemplating a limit. As for school, yes, I was the Walking Encyclopedia, Mr. Spock, Braniac, and various other teasing names, and also, for years, a goody two shoes, so I was a particular target of bullies for awhile (ending up big for my age helped). Interestingly, my being on the television quiz program "It's Academic" a few times, playing for my high school team, broke the ice with a lot of people. I finally figured out that to them, I had become a sort of quasi- jock, only one who used his brains instead of brawn, and therefore I made more sense.......

You might have noted that when I had to do with CH, I tried to speak to
him separate and apart (both :-))--rather than ride the momentum and zeal of
other posters.

Well, IMO you failed to make that distinction. You were just one more of the pack.

But if it makes you feel more noble to think that you somehow separated yourself out, feel free. I wouldn't want to crush your self-delusion if it's that important to you.
