<Why? It's not a whole lot different from the idea of "Intel Inside">

My opinion has changed.

When I first heard "AMD Me," I thought the concept was that "AMD" was a verb. In other words, it would be pronounced with a heavy emphasis on the word "AMD". In reality that was richanfamous' (aka Paul Engel) incorrect notion, as in "See me, feel me, touch me, AMD me." Secondly, if thats all the ads said, I thought they would fail miserably.

But now the CNet story makes it appear that the ads will focus on future products, and that the slogan is only a tag-line, similar to Intel Inside. The concept is "Lets do 64 bits the way my software likes it, the way my pocketbook likes it, not the way big brother likes it."

AMD me

... not Intel-do-it-our-way-or-else (without mentioning them by name, of course)
