I don't think anything "came home to roost," this was an action decided upon by the terrorists, and totally unsolicited by us... sure, the terrorists had a reason and the reason is very simple... their religious beliefs promise them more than they have, they believe they should be ruling the world, and they're not ruling the world, or much of anything... and they see the West with everything without adhering to their Islamic religious perspectives... they feel inadequate and dwarfed by the enormous power and wealth of the West... they feel dwarfed, and as such they attacked the tallest buildings in the West... the United States is hardly to blame for its incredible successes... the simple reason for our enormous success is our freedom, something they don't have... they have dictators, despots, zealots, and what have you... but, they don't have freedom... it is our very freedom that allows us to grow and prosper worldwide... sure, we're not perfect, but I cannot think of any country I would rather claim as my own as the United States... this is why we're so hated around the world, because we have everything they want, but we produced it, we paid for it, we earned it... anyhow, end of speech...<g> GZ
