So many of JLA's remarks are controversial. So it would have been truly nice if this self disclosure would have been treated with some respect instead of mockery... As you sow, so shall you reap. As you say, jla's postings, particularly on this thread, are almost universally obnoxious, accusatory, belligerent, and otherwise objectionable. He is not like some posters here who mix thoughtful and responsive posts with forays into material found by some to be objectionable. Since everything he has posted for months has been objectionable, it is hardly unfair to speculate on the possibility of some ulterior motive in what may initially appear to be the one innocent post this year. If Neocon had poted precisely the same post, I would, of course, have treated it totally differently, because it would have been consistent with his posting style. But somehow I don't think jla has changed his stripes overnight. So he reaped what he has sowed for these many years. Fair's fair.
