I understand that. We had few books on the farm. But they were all old books :-). I remember "Ivanhoe"; I remember "Glengary School Days"; Yada, Yada, Yada... As I got a bit bigger I made a chess board (and pieces) out of cardboard and I started to sell Christmas cards and garden seeds down section roads. Long walks with huge loads...but always a real human being at the end with soup or lemonade. Then after I began to order mail order from Ballantyne, Dover, etc. What memories! Yikes, I must be careful, or someone will think I am asking for sympathy...;-)
