Dear C: Nothing is impossible in war. The West principally the USA is regarded with suspicion by most Arab nations to begin with. There is not one Democracy there and who is to say Iran would not harbor partisans etc etc. It is an option that must be considered, though COMMON sense would SEEM to indicate the people of Iraq would welcome us if they could. However, looks like its water over the dam for now. Havent seen the morning news reports yet, but I suspect that option #3 is now the likely one, the question will be HOW MUCH TEETH will the inspectors have and HOW GOOD will they be in unearthing labs and the like. I have my doubts. Not to mention, once the program is over even if successful Saddam can start anew. Personally I think the SOB is just buying time and we are only putting off the inevitable. JDN

>>... just bought 10,000s SUNW @ 3.19 in pre-market here ...
Ken

ooops. kinda of a silly trade from a guy who said he just lowered his buy target down to $2.50 YESTERDAY. but he's been known to swoop in and buy some suncom at the breathy utterings of the now dearly departed CFO. I think if he would have thought this things through some, instead of plunging as he is apt to do on occasion, he would have observed that nobody is going to want to hold this dud on Sept 30, the day the brilliant ones have to show what the heck they own to the people who entrusted them with their money. buying post Sept 30 would have been the thoughtful thing to do. well, i guess its really almost impossible to get the CNBC out some people...rather embarrasing "celebrate the bear market by buying suncom trade" for a guy who sees himself as some kind of market guru. this sheep sure was shorn today, ehh CYBORG?
