Not fair. no generalizations please. Its taken only 55 years for the 2 countries (crafted from a few hundred kingdoms) to coexist in relative peace.

IMHO, the real screwup was this concept of "East Pakistan" and "West Pakistan" with a huge India in the middle. There could have been 3 countries from the start.

Are you saying that the decisions of those in power have no consequences? I remember you blaming the Indian government for the Bhopal tragedy.
