RBOCs suck, therefore buy QCOM. I have been wanting to ditch my telephone carrier for years, but DSL keeps me "hooked". The only calls I get on my landline these days are spammers. A cellphone for voice and a third party DSL that turned pacbell into a low-margin data pipe to the DSLAM would be just the ticket. Plus, the phone would have email/messaging and other goodies that the phone company will never provide in the right form, price, or timeframe.
