kumar, check out the wording of Bush's speech. Five conditions for peace, of which the first is disarming, not inspectors:

Now, Saddam says, he'll allow UN processes to work.

All Saddam is now saying is that he'll let inspectors in "unconditionally". And what does that mean? He'll let them into the country unconditionally? He won't try to pick the teams? He'll let them look into his palaces and hospitals unconditionally? He'll show them where the mobile labs are? I doubt it.

If you look, you'll notice that Bush said not a word about "letting UN processes work".
