The triumph of Bush over McCain in the republican primary is the prime example of what money can do.

I don't agree. I favored McCain at the beginning of the race, but by the time of the Virginia primary, I had switched to Bush, based on the way both candidates handled themselves. McCain did not come across well when he was a guest on the talk shows. He lost his temper under pressure. He's a hot-head.

Bush had the good sense not to go on the talk shows. Maybe he would have turned me off, too, who knows?
