Cary, I dont deny one word of what you say but the palestinians have historically been secular folks and the flirtation with the 7th century along with the IDF ass whooping could possibly lead to a major change. Offer me PC/Web access/AC/TV/Cars/some say in the future/eco opportunity/ PLUS some enlightened leaders and the 7th century may disappear once and for all. That is Bush policy. That is how you win the battle for mens minds. Give them a better alternative. Your view like that of the arab rejectionists is mired in a sense of hopelessness which just perpetuates the status quo and is unlike your usual sense of optimism. Get with the program. Mike
